Welcome To RxFit

The RxFit exercise program utilizes strength and conditioning methods similar to those used by many police academies, military special operations units, and elite and professional ath-letes worldwide. Whether your goal is weight loss and body composition changes, prevent-ing or reversing chronic health conditions, or becoming stronger and faster, the RxFit pro-gram will help you see results fast. RxFit is a high intensity core strength and conditioning pro-gram that combines functional training (movements used in everyday life and sport) with weight lifting and gymnastics (body weight movements). Each workout is done for quantity or time. This makes the workouts resemble sport and will help to motivate you to reach your fitness goals. The classes are challenging and fun and designed for universal scalability, from elderly individuals to Olympic caliber athletes. With the RxFit program any committed individual, regardless of their age or fitness level, will discover that their best days of fitness are not behind them, but well within their reach.

RxFit Basics Course:  The Basics Course is a 4 session Jump-Start Program designed to assess fitness levels and instruct on the fundamental movements that are utilized in the RxFit workouts.  The course will also cover nutrition, mobility, and answer any questions you may have before taking "the plunge" into the RxFit Program!

     MEET RICH GRUBER:

When I first discovered CrossFit, I was hooked immediately. Here is a “workout” that is sport. Or is it a “sport” that is a workout? Either way you look at it, this way of training forever changed the way I workout or how I define what fitness truly is.
I have been lucky to be a life-long student of fitness and athletics. I am aware that others haven't had the same opportunities for the kind of excellent coaching and training that I’ve had.  I graduated from Western Maryland College with a degree in Exercise Science.  Additionally, I hold certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer and CrossFit as a CrossFit Level 1 Instructor and CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer.
Working with children and adults as a fitness trainer and coach has always been a passion of mine.  After spending over 25 years working in the swimming pool construction industry I decided to turn my passion into my career and teach fitness fulltime.
Strength training and functional training (movements used in everyday life and sport) are the foundation of the CrossFit program.  Encouraging and showing people of all ages and fitness levels how to adapt to these movements and the intensity of the program is so rewarding because the results are so impressive. Whether your goal is weight loss and body composition changes, preventing or reversing chronic health conditions, or becoming stronger and faster, you will see quick results.  With CrossFit and my expert guidance, any committed individual, regardless of their age or fitness level, will discover that their best days of fitness are not behind them, but well within their reach!
